I'm such a baby.

I've been trying to sell some of our stuff that we're not going to be able to take with us. I'm really not too attached to anything so it hasn't been too hard until just now. I had to list Jimmy's car/bike because it's just too big to take. It sold within one minute and it's already gone and out of the house. Jimmy was just playing with it 30 minutes ago before his nap. I even told him he could play with it when he woke up. Now he'll wake up and it'll be gone. He won't understand. Who am I to sell his stuff without his permission? Is it too embarassing to admit that I'm crying now?

You're going to think I'm nuts but I'M TOTALLY CRYING because of that. *Someone* needs a crazy pill! (Me, not you). I'm sure you're full of so many emotions getting ready for this huge life change (read: ADVENTURE). That's crazy it sold so fast! Good, but sad for little Jimmy.

Oh, poor you. What a heart-tugger. Just show him the money and put it in a special envelope that he can take with him and buy a new one when you get to your new home. If you're excited about it, he will be too.

Just don't let him watch it leave.

Jimmy tells me all the time now, "Please don't give this to someone else". I think he is having security issues with his belongings because he thinks his mommy is going to sell everything near and dear to him on craigslist. Poor little guy.
