First, I just want to say a few things. President Hinckley's death never really hit me until church yesterday and then watching his funeral afterwards. I got teared-up in Sacrament meeting when we started singing the closing hymn "God Be With You 'Til We Meet Again." Whoever chose that song was a little cruel...jk...I couldn't sing though. I just sat there and read the words. What an amazing man and how lucky I am to have lived during his day. One of the things that stands out in my mind is his amazing relationship with his wife and how sweet they always were to each other. I hope that I can better myself because of him.
I just saw this on my friends blog and thought what a great idea it was and wanted to share with all of you. I know I am going to try and do it, you should too.
There's a challenge to read the Book of Mormon in 97 days (his age when he died). The people who started the challenge are trying to get everyone to start on the same day. Here are the details:
Go to www.hinckleychallenge.com and create an account (free, of course). On Feb 4, 2008 (TODAY) begin your reading. Each day you read, log on and record what page number you are on. It even shows you how many pages you need to read that day to keep you on track...pretty nifty.
So will you join me in this challenge?

ABC Tag
ABC's of Me:
A- Attached or single: Attached for the past 4 years!
B- Best Friend: Definitely Jarom. There's no one I'd rather be with and talk to than him. He always makes me smile and laugh, even when I don't want to!
C-Cake or Pie: Rita's Cheesecake...Mmmm.
D- Day of Choice: Saturdays and Sundays because Jarom has off work and I have a car.
E- Essential Item: My cell phone. Even though I don't love to talk on the phone, I can't imagine not having a cell.
F- Favorite Color: I used to say blue but I think it's changed to red.
G- Gummi Bears or Worms: I love both but I buy bears more often.
H- Hometown: Mapleton, UT
I- Indulgence(s): Reading good books, eating chocolate (especially Dove promises), watching my fav shows when the boys are in bed, driving with the music blasting (although I can only do this if I'm alone...if other people are with me the loud music seems to irritate me), reading other people's blogs, scrapbooking and other crafty things, and snuggling with my three handsome boys!
J- January or July: July all the way! Why? It's warm (although sometimes a little too warm), family vacations, playing in the park and of course my birthday!
K-Kids: Jimmy (I don't think he knows his real name is James): 2 yrs
Glade: 4 months
L-Life is incomplete without: My family & the Gospel
M- Marriage Date: August 24, 2004
N- Number of Siblings: 3 sisters, 2 brothers
O- Oranges or Apples: Gala Apples from Smith's (I swear the WalMart ones don't taste as good).
P- Phobias or Fears: I've always been afraid I'd have a miscarriage, one of my children would be taken from me or I'd get cancer. Recently I've had a lot of dreams that my house catches on fire or that my husband doesn't want me any more...sad, I know...thankfully all just dreams. Oh and I don't like spiders. Jimmy's my spider squisher!
Q- Quote(s): "In the eternal perspective, children - not possessions, not position, not prestige - are our greatest jewels."
"What children take from us, they give, we become people who feel more deeply, question more deeply, hurt more deeply, and love more deeply."
R- Reason To Smile: Glade's toothless grin and adorable frown, Jimmy giving me hugs and pats and saying, "Is otay Mommy." And Jarom calling to say he had a late lunch so I don't need to make dinner.
S- Season: I love the beginning of each season then I tend to wish for the next.
T- Tag: How about Katie and Chira.
U- Unknown Fact About Me: I've thought about this one for far too long. Here are few that not everyone knows so maybe out of the few there is one you didn't already know...
I broke up with Jarom two times (or was it three) before we got engaged. He just kept coming back for more...thankfully.
I choked on a green Spree when I was 14 or so and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance. Lessons learned...never eat candy after brushing your teeth and don't laugh at jokes with Sprees in your mouth.
Last time I went to the dentist (2 yrs ago...yikes) I was complimented on my flossing. Truth be told I had only flossed maybe 12 times in the past 12 months and the majority of those were within days of my appointment.
I hate washing off my mascara at night and it sometimes keeps me from putting it on in the morning, "if I never put it on I don't have to take it off."
Growing up, I always wanted a pet monkey. How fun would that be?
V- Vegetarian or Oppressor of Animal: Bring on the animal! My fav is steak and salmon.
W- Worst Habit: I eat more between the hours of 9 pm and midnight than I do the rest of the day. I'm definitely a snacker.
X- X-Rays or Ultrasounds: Well considering I've never had an X-Ray (no broken bones or even sprains), I'd have to say ultrasounds. One of the best days of pregnancy is ultrasound day...I love it! Everything seems more real once I see my baby.
Y- Your Favorite Food: Anything I didn't cook (not that I cook poorly, I just enjoy it more if I didn't make it). I love Pizza Hut's deep dish pizza, Red Robin's mushroom burger and Tepanyaki's anything.
Z: Zodiac: Cancer, I think (July 26th).

New Look - Wahoo!
This was a much needed change. I was so sick of my old layout. And hey, it wasn't too difficult to change it thanks to this cute website. Thank you, thank you! Next thing to change...our pics in the sidebar. I should probably wait at least until tomorrow considering it's almost 1:00 am. And I wonder why I'm tired during the day! I'm definitely a night person, always have been and I assume always will be. With my luck Glade will get hungry just as I'm crawling into bed. He's good at that.

It's All in My Head
I am one of those bloggers that is constantly thinking up "interesting" posts, complete with titles and pictures, in my head...and yet they never make it to my blog. Wait, do "those bloggers" even exist or am I the only one? I never seem to have/make enough time to actually post my blogs. So in case you're interested, here are some of those fascinating posts that would've been on my blog in full context if I didn't have two littlies (one hungry angel & one precious stinker):
1. One Possessed Potty: Jimmy's toddler potty makes "fun" sounds when he goes in it. Sounds fun right...until it becomes possessed...the other day it kept going off all during nap time. I kept getting up to see if Jimmy had somehow figured out how to get out of his crib (without me hearing) just so he could go sit on his potty. Not the case. Then I worried the loud annoying music would wake him up from his nap early, which by the way is one of my biggest pet peeves. Nap time is PRECIOUS and I can't stand it when it's interrupted. I finally took apart the whole thing just to get it to be quiet. FYI, Jimmy loves going on the potty and asks to go on it all the time (and goes on it without asking). The main thing holding him back is me...I don't feel like putting in all the time for potty breaks...am I horrible?
2. It Wasn't Me: I can't believe we're already starting this phase at our house. There was mysteriously a beautiful picture drawn in eye liner on my bathroom tile. Jimmy walked into the bathroom and said, "Uh oh, what appen (happened)?" I replied, "Someone drew on the floor...do you know who?" Jimmy..."Ummm, it was bebe." Should I believe him?
3. Ahhhhh, Nice: This is Jimmy's new fav saying. He says it as he's getting in a warm bath, snuggling up with his blanket, giving people hugs...
4. Glade's New Friend: One of Glade's few Christmas gifts was a cute lion rattle that can attach to his car seat. Almost every time he sees it he smiles at it and coos. It's adorable and I have a way cute video of it but it's too big to post and I can't figure out how to make the video smaller. Help?
5. Time For Change: I've seen so many cute blogs out there and I'm really quite sick of my boring/basic layout. Is there anyway I can create a cute new and original layout without having to do it all on my own...because I don't really know what I'm doing!
Well, five in one...that's plenty! Oh and here's a picture of my cute chub-a-lub. Afterall, what's a post without a picture?

(Insert Witty Title Here)
I really am horrible at thinking of good titles for my blogs. All I could come up for this one was "FHE Fun" or "Gingerbread House"...yeah, pretty boring. Anyway, we made a gingerbread house with Jimmy last night. It was lots of fun. We bought one of those kits that has "all you need." Jimmy really enjoyed it. He's so funny, he doesn't like to have messy hands so each time frosting would get on his hands he would try and wipe it off on the house and exclaim, "Ew!" I'm pretty sure he gets that from his dad who gets easily grossed out and will probably not eat any of the candy off this house due to the fact that our two year old touched it!
