I need your help. One of my good friends just stopped by with SIX bags stuffed full with adorable baby girl clothes. Not only that but she washed them all for me, sorted them, and then rode them over to my house on her bike! And...she has more to come. Can you believe it? I am in awe of her generosity and want to do something really nice for her. Any ideas? Somehow I think a plate of cookies just doesn't quite cut it!
Oh, and I promise pictures of Paris are coming soon. I just got them off my camera.

That's so nice of her! You could have her and her family over for dinner then send her home with a frozen casserole to save for later. Or you could bring her flowers with a gift card to a clothing store in the card. Congrats on all the great hand-me-downs!
Oh my goodness, those are the most adorable little girl clothes I've ever seen! How generous of her to give you those! Does she have kids you could babysit? Make her an entire dinner? I don't know! I'm sure you'll think of something. Yay for girl clothes!

Flowers are big over there. You could get her a cute little house decoration or something (I have no decorations up yet, so I always think of that). Dinner is nice.
How about a gift certificate to her favorite clothing store? Since she gave you so much nice clothing, and you're saving $ on baby clothes, you can return the favor in part, and she can get something special for herself! Maybe you can promise to go shopping with her too. Clothes shopping is always better with a good friend, especially if you have kids in tow . . .
